There’s a new edition of miniature Pentax SLR keychains/hot-shoe mascots available in the row of capsule toy machines outside the film shop of Yodobashi camera in Shinjuku. Unlike the first edition which was limited to various colors of the Pentax Kr, this set features Pentax K5, K7, and the one I really was hoping to get, a vintage Pentax MX. Like the first edition they come with a keychain ring but this time the lenses are interchangeable and the hot-shoe cover adapter is removable. I have a feeling these will sell out fairly quickly.
Here’s a link to a Japanese camera website with macro images of each of the cameras.
Here’s a link to a Japanese blog with pictures of a miniature Nikon F set that was released several years ago. It came with a small box of caramels, I believe. These are unfortunately impossible to find now.
